Broadcast on radio stations across America, CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan originates from Nashville and is CMT’s premiere country music and entertainment radio show. Cody’s wit, energy and charm shine with big star guests and live interaction with listeners. Landing major interviews with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift and more, Cody asks the right balance of questions, including the untypical. Country artist Dierks Bentley says, “Cody’s show always feels fresh and current. Cody cares about country music’s past and future, and has always worked to make his shows exciting, interesting and personal.”
Cody is the official voice of the CMT Music Awards, and always brings fans the action from the red carpet to backstage of all the major award shows. On CMT, Cody also hosts #1 Music and a Movie, where viewers get an inside peek at the week’s #1’s in music and movies!
Cody is a respected veteran personality in the broadcast industry. After gigs in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, Cody made it to the major leagues at age 23 when he landed in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Along the way, Cody has received numerous national awards including DJ of the Year from Country Radio Broadcasters, with his most recent nomination from the Academy of Country Music. Nominated for Radio Music Awards Air Personality of the Year, Cody has been honored at the Grand Ole Opry, featured in USA Today and GQ Magazine. As well, Cody was named Radio and Records Music Director of the Year five times, while Billboard magazine and the Radio Music Awards honored him with the annual title as well.
When not hosting on radio or TV, Cody loves working out, running, watching late night TV and reality shows, listening to all kinds of music, relaxing in the mountains, eating Mexican food and spending time with his family and children.
Dingo is the producer for CMT Radio Live. Originally from Australia, he spent the last 15 years living in Texas before making the move to the CMT World Headquarters in Nashville. Professionally, Dingo has hosted his own morning show, been a Program and Music Director, directed a #1 rated morning show in DFW and produced various Syndicated programs including CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan. Dingo has worked on staffs that have won ACM, CMA and Marconi Awards as well as working with Cody for over 10 years.
Personally, Dingo is the father of two boys and has been married to his wife for more than 5 years. Although he could not get into Texas A&M, his wife went there so you will always see him wearing an Aggie hat and shirt. When not working, Dingo enjoys watching football and baseball (he use to coach), firing up the XBOX and the occasional golf game. Currently on his iPod, you will find Pat Green, Billy Joel and the occasional Elvis song.
Angie G is thrilled to be digging up the dirt every night on CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan. But that’s not her only job. She also serves as Senior Producer for the CMT Radio Network and is proud to have worked for Country Music Television for over nine years. She also has 14 years of radio and television broadcasting experience under her belt. A proud Oklahoma native, Angie G is a die-hard Oklahoma Sooners football and basketball fan and when not cheering on her teams, she can be found on a stage somewhere in Nashville participating in a community theater production. When Angie G does find down time, she is usually at home hanging out with her two beloved cats, Lefty and Percy or jamming out to some Keith Urban, Tim McGraw or Garth Brooks.
As you can tell from her picture, Dirt Diva Lindsey likes to dig up the dirt like an undercover top secret agent – never revealing her sources. When she’s not busy hiding out in Kenny Chesney’s tour bus listening for the latest news or following (um hmm…it only becomes “stalking” if they notice you) around Taylor Swift so she can be the next teen sensation – Lindsey is the Producer of the CMT Radio Network. Her day is spent interviewing artists and writing about them, not a bad gig! She’s a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie – Class of ‘05, WHOOP. After college she loaded up what would fit in her 2000 Daewoo, oh yea…it even had a spoiler, and headed up to Nashville to work for CMT.
In her off time, Lindsey is a Tennessee Titans Cheerleader and you’ll often hear Cody making fun of her “rabbit food” or teasing her about the pizza she can’t eat. This is her third year as a Titans Cheerleader and she’s serving as Captain for the team this year. Since so many country stars are fans of the Titans, she’s able to get even more scoop dressed as a cheerleader at games. That’s right, inside those pom poms is actually a pen and paper where she’s making notes for her next Dirt report.
